Although I have never really thought of myself as a super creative person, I have been doing a great job making bamboo wall art for my home in recent years. The rich, clear colors come in deep red pure white and royal violet. There also is a salmon pink with white stripes, and pink and rose shades.
Six to eight weeks after the bulb is planted the first buds appear. In planting, let the bulb protrude two-thirds above the soil. Place in half light, with temperature around 65 degrees. Water lightly until buds are formed and then set in a south window.
Remove the stalk after flowers fade, but keep the bulb watered. This should be kept up until time to set it outside for the summer.
Many of the choice bulbs still are collector’s items and high priced. Growing them from seed is a delicate procedure, but not impossible. Ludwig amaryllis seed can be had in pure white, and other colors.
Use flats or flower pots containing vermiculite, sifted sphagnum moss or clean sand. Plant the seed one-eighth of an inch deep, laying it flat. Place in a shaded spot and sift one-eighth of an inch of vermiculite or sand over it. Water lightly until seedlings begin to appear.
As the leaves, grow, water gently with a fine spray. Check the plants daily, placing them in stronger light. Over-watering will cause the seedlings to dampen off.
When the tiny plants show bulb-lets as large as a good-sized pea, they should be moved. They can be transplanted to flower pots or prepared flats.
Some commercial fertilizer not lawn fertilizer should be added to the potting mixture of loam, peat moss and sharp sand.

There is a local park nearby my home, full of life – from groups of kids huddled around the gazebos selling drinks and ice-creams, to the streams of joggers and aerobics classes taking place within the park. I always used to go there and walk around for some time in the early morning. Whenever I feel sad or tensed or mentally disturbed, this local park is the only place where I can cool down. You can see the beautiful sight of the leaves filled with dew in the early mornings. This local park is covered with green grasses on all the sides. You can also enjoy the sight of wonderful flowers in varieties of colors. If you go by there in th evening you can find the kids playing on the swings. When you see the happy and naughty faces of those kids your worries disappear. The park is maintained in a neat manner, and you can breathe fresh air in and around the park. You can also make friends with different age groups coming to the park. If you want a healthy life you too can visit the park nearby your home: perhaps the most overlooked place in any given town!
