On Mango Avenue (the citys chill out place) there’s a new comedy bar that opened up about a week ago, it has gotten quite a lot of rave on the radio, TV, newspaper columns and on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The hosts of this comedy bar are really good and hilarious, no wonder the place is always packed with customers even on weekdays. She told us that she was there on its opening night and noticed that one of the hosts look like eddie izzard, not only does this host look like him he was also just as funny as his look alike. Sharon whispered to me and asked who on earth is this Eddie guy and why does it sound like he is one super awesome person. The question did not pass Nancy unheard so she responded that Eddie is an English stand-up comedian with several film appearances to include My Super Ex-girlfriend, Valkyrie and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian as the voice of Reepicheep. Nancy then invited us to go with her and her officemates to go check out the place this weekend.
We are finally breaking down and going on a vacation. It has been way too long for both of us. We work so much and it is hard to believe that the last time we took a trip was our honeymoon. I remember barely getting enough time off to do that. But, we both realized that if we knew what was good for us then we would need to get going on this trip as soon as possible. We decided to go to a warm place because it is really cold by us every single winter. I was really tired of shoveling the snow out of my driveway and I did not want to spend time skiing in the snow for a vacation. We called the concierge at a hotel on a bright, sunny beach and he told us that if we booked early then we could get a really good package deal. It sounded really nice so we went ahead and booked it. I didnt see any reason why we shouldnt. The worst thing that could happen is we find a better deal at another hotel and end up going there. I am pretty sure that my wife has already started packing for the trip. I told her that I do not want to take more than two bags per person but she is convinced she needs to have a third. The trip is still two weeks away so I hope she can keep to her promise. I’m already going to have to tip the concierge services for moving our bags around for us. That’s going to end up being the most expensive part of the trip. Every time they help you out or bring you something they expect a tip. Well, I’m going to make sure that I pack a lot of one dollar bills just for that reason.
